The ARION advisory board
Advisory board ARION is guided by an independent Advisory Board of senior figures in research assessment reform, open science and research management. The Board reviews direction and outputs, tests them against real institutional and policy needs, and helps connect the project to the wider reform movement.

An external Advisory Board of six distinguished experts, who have already accepted, will meet annually to provide independent feedback, ensuring ARION remains strategically aligned and internationally credible.
Cameron Neylon
Cameron brings expertise in Open Science and research communication, a force behind the Barcelona
Declaration, and in the CoARA Board.
Christian González-Billault
Vice Rector for R&D and DORA executive committee member, combining institutional leadership with global policy.
James Morris
James leads research culture and assessment work as Senior Policy Officer bringing the RFO perspective.
Isabella Wagner
Isabella is Managing Director of the Austrian Platform for Research and Technology Policy Evaluation.
Karen Stroobants
Karen Stroobants serves as Vice-Chair of CoARA and led its drafting team, a frontrunner for Narrative CVs.
Yu Sasaki
Yu Sasaki provides expertise in RRA from an Asian perspective through her work at Kyoto
University Research Administration Office.
